Women in Tech Scotland scoops the award for Diversity Event of the Year.
In a memorable celebration of those who promote equality, diversity, and social inclusion, Maddox Events was awarded Diversity Event of the Year for Women in Tech Scotland. The pioneering tech event fought off fierce competition from the likes of Edinburgh Mela, The Happiness Festival, and Refugee Festival Scotland – to name a few. Rebecca Davis, Georgia Ermilios, and Emma Tommony (pictured above) collected the prize on behalf of the team.
This award-winning event is known for its ability to enable people and organisations to connect, learn, and take action on gender diversity and inclusion in a passion-charged environment. Indeed, Women in Tech Scotland is changing the face of the digital revolution by not shying away from controversy.
Through inspirational keynotes, deep insight into tech trends and business strategy, technical classes, and career development workshops, this conference provides all the content and networking opportunities that Scottish women in technology need to flourish.
In addition to Women in Tech Scotland winning this prestigious gong, it has been announced that the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), home to last year's event, has been crowned the Best UK Conference Centre at the Meetings & Incentive Travel Awards 2019.
