How can I travel to the event?
With excellent air links and rail and road network, getting to Edinburgh and the EICC from overseas or within the UK has never been easier.
Transport by bike
There are bike racks next to the main entrance to chain up bikes. For nearby routes, take a look at Edinburgh's cycle paths, many of which run close to the EICC.
Transport by car
The EICC is right in the centre of Edinburgh. The main entrance is 150 Morrison Street. For directions from your home or office visit www.multimap.com and input EH3 8EE for the destination postcode.

Transport by train
Edinburgh has two railway stations:
Waverley Station is 1.3 miles from EICC, is the city's main railway station and has direct routes to many cities across the country, including over 25 daily departures from London.
Haymarket Station is just 0.4 miles from EICC, is a stop for many commuter and some UK train routes. Please ensure that you check with your rail network provider to find out if your train will stop at Haymarket or Waverley.
Transport by tram
Edinburgh Trams run between the Airport and York Place every 8-10 minutes on Monday to Saturday and every 12-15 minutes on a Sunday. The closest tram stop to the EICC is at Haymarket Station. Please visit Edinburgh Trams website for more details.
Transport by bus

Transport by air
Edinburgh has one of the UK's fastest growing airports and new flights are always being added. At the EICC, we have the luxury of being located right in the heart of the city and within 10km (6 miles) of Edinburgh International Airport.

If travelling to the EICC from Edinburgh Airport by Bus, the Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre, with designated stops en route. The service starts at 04.30 and runs until 00.22 at night, with the journey taking 20 minutes. Tickets cost £4.50 single and £7.50 return. Delegates are advised to disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and to follow signs for EICC on foot (5 minute walk). See city centre map for directions.
The N22 bus also departs from outside the Airport entrance and runs every half an hour through the night until the Airlink service starts again. For more information about these services visit www.flybybus.com.
If travelling to the EICC from Edinburgh Airport by Tram, Edinburgh Trams run between the Airport and York Place, in central Edinburgh, every 8-10 minutes on Monday to Saturday and every 12-15 minutes on a Sunday. If travelling to the EICC from Edinburgh Airport by Taxi, there is an excellent taxi service from the airport to the city. You'll find official airport taxis at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport). It costs approximately £15 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes 20 minutes depending on the time of day.

Will I receive event updates?
Yes, we will email you weekly leading up to the event (a month out). You will receive speaker, content and event updates.
Will I be sent a ticket?
No. Your badge will be ready at the registration desk for you to collect. More information on specific registration will be sent to you no less than 2 weeks before the event.
I am no longer able to attend; can my pass be amended?
Yes, please email our Community Lead, Hiywet to amend pass details.
I am no longer able to attend; can I get a refund?
We are unable to offer refunds less than 30 days before the conference. However, you can transfer your place on to another colleague.
What time does the event start and finish?
Registration starts at 08:15am with the first session starting at 09:15am. The last session will end at 17:45pm, you are then invited to join us for networking drinks for an hour.
Can tickets be purchased on the event day?
Yes, a member of the delegate team will be on site and can take payment cards on the door. In order to avoid disappointment, we advise booking prior to the event online or through our Community Lead, Hiywet.
What is the dress code?
There is no specific dress code. We encourage attendees to wear whatever they find most comfortable, most people joining us tend to opt for the smart casual approach.
Will there be somewhere I can store my bags/coats?
There is a complimentary cloakroom available for all guests. The cloakroom will be attended throughout the event.
Will lunch be provided?
Yes, lunch will be provided along with light snacks and refreshments during coffee breaks.
What is the agenda comprised of?
Everyone will start in the main plenary until 11:00am when the break out rooms and workshops open. All attendees will end the day back in the main plenary from 17:00pm.
Agendas will be available at registration for all visitors however we also recommend you view the online agenda before arriving.
What about workshops?
Workshops will have to be registered for. We will email you 2 weeks before the event with details on how to register for the workshops of your choice.

Where are the toilets located?
Please refer to the floorplan in the onsite agenda for exact locations of the toilets.
Is there a mothering room?
There is not a dedicated mothering room. If you require a space to nurse, please notify us ahead of the event.
Is there a prayer room?
There is not a dedicated prayer room. If you require a space to pray, please notify us ahead of the event.
Is there a quiet room?
There is not a dedicated quiet room.
Is there a cash machine?
There nearest cash machine is located outside Sainsbury which is roughly a 2-minute walk from the venue.
Can I bring my child?
Children are allowed during the events open hours only. Children are not permitted to be present during the networking drinks.
Will there be a first aider onsite?Yes, there will be a first aider onsite. Please speak to one of the organisers should you need a first aider.
Are the presentations recorded?
Yes, the main plenary will be recorded and will be made available to speakers, event partners & gold pass holders. We will email you once the recordings are available
Are the presentations available?
This is up to the speakers’ discretion. Please email Isabella to ask if it’s available.
Can I leave feedback?
An online survey will be circulated post-event. We welcome all feedback.
